23rd ‘Yaad-E-Murshid Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj’ Free Eye Health Screening and Operation Camp

Until third day of the camp, 587 eye operations performed, 1161 patients identified for operation, 9936 eye patients Tested

Sirsa: On 15^th Dec 2014, the Monday, the District Civil surgeon Dr. Surinder Nain and other doctors team inspected the 23^rd ‘Yaad-E-Murshid Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj’ Mega Free Eye Check-up & Operation Camp set up under the National Programme for Control of Blindness (NPCB), in the sacred memory of His Holiness Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj. They were of full praise for the latest medical facilities being provided for the patients in the medical camp. Inspired by the selfless service by the volunteers and doctors in the modern Shah Satnam Super Speciality Hospital and the laboratory, the civil surgeon himself started for the checkups of the patients in the various wards.

The civil surgeon Dr. Surinder Nain praised the latest medical facilities being provided to the patients in the mega eye screening and operation camp. He said that in the medical camp being set up by the institution Dera Sacha Sauda, all types modern medical facilities are being provided for the benefit of the patients and also famous doctors of the country are rendering their services in the camp. On this occasion, the civil surgeon also inquired about the well-being of the patients. Apart from this, he inspected the various wards being set up for the eye patients, the Shah Satnam Super Speciality Hospital operation theater adorned with all the latest and modern equipment and also the laboratory being set up for testing of the eye patients. Till Monday, a total of 9936 patients were tested which comprised of 5480 female patients and 4456 male patients and the testing process was still ongoing. After the initial inspection of the patients, a total of 1161 patients were selected for the operation. Till Monday, a total of 587 eye operations were performed in the operation theater of Shah Satnam Super Speciality Hospital.

On this occasion, the joint CMO of Shah Satnam Super Speciality Hospital Dr. Puneet Insan told that under the guidance of revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the Dera Sacha Sauda institution is setting up ‘Mega Free Eye Check-up & Operation Camp’ every year from last 22 years. In the medical camp, the volunteers render selfless service to the patients like their own father mother. In the camp, the operations are performed with the ‘Faiko’ technology. Also the patients are provided with spectacles, medicines, meal and drinks free of cost by the Shah Satnam Ji Research and Development Foundation, Dera Sacha Sauda,

On this occasion, the senior vice-chairman of Dera Sacha Sauda institution Dr. P.R Nain Insan, Jagjit Insan, Deputy CMO of hospital Viresh Bhusan, joint CMO of Shah Satnam Super Speciality Hospital Dr. Puneet Insan, Dr. Mohit Insan and Dr. Aditya Insan were present.
