Relief Work started by Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers in Uttarakhand flood-hit areas
The daredevil volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda’s Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing, as always, have reached “The Land of Gods” Uttarakhand to take care of the flood victims. The volunteers crossed hundreds of kilometers of difficult paths and ravaged hills to reach here and took care of the victims and provided them with medical treatment through 15 medical specialists. Subsequently, volunteers gird up their loins to start distribution of relief material to the victim families. The Indian Army & soldiers working for the rescue of flood victims there along with the administrative officials & the spectators applauded the spirit of volunteers to serve for the disaster victims.
Adhering to the teachings of Dera Sacha Sauda’s Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, 200 volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing arrived at Guptkashi on Friday along with 33 trucks loaded with relief material and with the world’s smallest mobile hospital acquainted with all modern medical facilities. Several teams of volunteers have been made to distribute relief material to the victims.
A meeting was held with local administration and Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing along with the spokesperson of Dera Sacha Sauda Dr. Pawan Insan wherein the most inaccessible flood affected areas were enlisted. To ensure no needy is deprived of the help, a control room with help line number 8126165807 has been set up in Guptkashi, on which the needy &honored personalities of victimized areas can contact for any support or help. Spokesperson Dr. Pawan Insan further said the control room has been set up at Guptkashi to facilitate the door-to-door distribution of relief material, along with it, 7 sub-centers have been made in Kalimath, Rampur, Phata, Lawara, Lamgaundi, Kotma, Triyuginarayan to handover relief material to the victims in inaccessible areas. Volunteers will carry relief material from these sub-centers and provide door-delivery to the victim families.
Medical Facilities Started
In a bid to provide all medical facilities to the victims of this natural calamity, the team of medical specialists arrived here have started rendering their services in PHC Hospital from Friday. A total of 80 patients were examined by the doctors on the first day.
The team of specialists include The team of 15 medical specialists include Dr. Gaurav Insan (MD medicines), Dr. SwapnilGarg (Plastic Surgeon), Dr. Aditya Insan (Eye Specialist), Dr. Kirti Insan (Gynecologist), Dr. Sumit Insan (ENT Specialist), Dr. Mohit Insan (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Shipra Insan, Dr. Lokesh Insan, Dr. Sandeep Insan etc.

Chairman of Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, Govind Singh Kunjwal said that it is a disastrous moment for Uttarakhand. Many organizations came forward at this moment to help and support during this disaster but volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing have shown a great courage. They are incredible volunteers who not only arrived after crossing several difficult routes but also helped in mending the devastated routes. He said that he heartily adore Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing and thank Revered Guru Ji Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. The effort put by these volunteers to deliver relief material at the doors of victim families is really appreciable.

A sense of terror among the residents
A resident of Lawara Village, Manoj Shukla described that he was at Kedarnath on that day. His two nephews and brother-in-law drowned in flood in front of his eyes. He got his hand fractured in the chaos of saving himself. About 15 people from his village died in this devastation. Similar is the story of Vinod Kumar Jamloki from Gaurikund village who lost his shop, the only source of his livelihood, in this disaster. He told that around 12 people sacrificed their lives to this disaster. Kamleshwar, resident of Rudrapur said that flood water took away his flower shop depriving him and many others like him from their sources of employment. About 10 people from his village died in this calamity.
