However, for some, the delight of clear vision is still a dream due to various eye related ailments. Various factors such as financial instability, inaccessible medical services etc. give them a wide berth from availing the treatment on time.
For victims of such unfortunate circumstances, the ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Mega Free Eye Camp organized by Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS) serves as a blessing in disguise. This camp is conducted annually to benefit the needy ones suffering from cataract, glaucoma and other vision ailments. Dera Sacha Sauda taking charge of helping individuals, reinstating their former vision is a boon for those facing financial hardships.
Origin of Yaad-E-Murshid Free Eye Camps
The ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Free Eye Camp signifies an honored importance celebrating the spiritual legacy of Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, the second spiritual master of Dera Sacha Sauda. His Holiness passed on his spiritual wealth to Saint Dr. MSG and went back to the Home of the Lord on 13th December 1991. This camp is conducted every year from 12th to 15th December in honor of Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj. Under the guidance of Saint Dr. MSG, Dera Sacha Sauda disciples devote these days passionately and selflessly to serve humanity.
It was originally initiated in 1992 and has been consecutively conducted every year thereafter marking its 33rd anniversary this year. It is being organized at Shah Satnam Ji Shah Mastan Ji Manavta Bhalai Kendra, Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa (Hry.). Hitherto, 101,385 individuals have benefitted through this act of benevolence. Witnessing individuals gathering to serve humanity under the guidance of Saint Dr.MSG is highly praiseworthy!

This well-structured eye wellness initiative is organized recurrently with the prime agenda of extending help to the needy, without any discrimination. The camp offers relentless services to individuals of various castes, races and religions with no constraint for geographical or social boundaries. Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers open heartedly welcome the patients, and the services not only include surgical treatment but also extend to providing immense care to help individuals recover post-surgery.
A team of well-versed super-specialist doctors along with DSS volunteers is always on toes to cater to the needs of the patients. They compassionately deliver extensive care to patients, free of cost. The primary aspect of this camp is not limited to treating patients who visit the venue; DSS volunteers also assist individuals unable to reach the camp due to physical or financial hardships, ensuring they can access the facilities by accompanying them to Dera Sacha Sauda (Haryana). Patients are offered free of cost food, medicines, lodging, personal assistance and post-operative care.
Road Map to Camp
Yaad-E-Murshid Free Eye Camp is being organized from 12th December to 15th December, and individuals need to get themselves registered to avail the benefits of camp. The registrations are ongoing and started on 10 December. This annual event signifies Dera Sacha Sauda’s commendable commitment to serve humanity. DSS Volunteers take complete care of the patients, assisting them from initial consultation to post-surgical care. Patients are accompanied throughout the healing journey and are aided with all the basic necessitates. The camp ensures smooth and homely experience filled with care, providing healthy environment that prioritizes the well-being of patients.
