On August 27, 2013 Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan flagged off the third consignment of relief material for Uttrakhand victims. The relief material sent for the helpless cattle would be distributed in the areas of Laksar and Khanpur, Haridwar (Uttrakhand) by the volunteers of Dera Sach Sauda. It is important to mention over here that, Dera Sacha Sauda had already sent off relief material for the victims of flash floods in Uttrakhand on June 21, 2013. Apart from this, a team of 15 doctors with 33 canters of fodder were also mobilized to Guptkashi on July 9, 2013.
Volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing distributed ration to 10,000 families and the above said team of doctors treated and provided medicines to 2500 people. Besides, the medical team visited several areas of Uttrakhand, & operated 87 patients in Dhani, 25 in Vyung & Korkhi, 107 in Maikhanda, 23 in Narayangarh, 150 in Lamgaundi, , 28 in Khumera and 50 in Luwara. His Eminence Guruji blessed the volunteers going for this noble cause to serve the victims. On the occasion, He said, “There was a great demand for the food for cattle form the affected areas. Several animals are helplessly dying due to the lack of food.
The volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing along with the local residents of Uttrakhand are committed to provide succor to the victims. If there would be a need of getting the homes constructed for them, Dera volunteers will be racing to meet their needs. Moreover, necessary measures will be provided if any need arises in future. Count of Humanitarian activities being pursued by Dera Sacha sauda has been crossed century”
