Games in Holy Native Sri Gurusar Modia

On the auspicious occasion of Dera Sacha Sauda’s founder Beparwah Mastana Ji Maharaj, a one day games competition was held at Sri Gurusar Modia. In that not only the youngsters but elders too participated and made everyone amazed by showing their talents. Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim singh Ji Insan inaugurated this tournament by releasing balloons in the air.
While addressing to the people gathered over there on the inauguration ceremony Revered Guruji said, “sports are good for fitness; also, it catalyses mutual love and fraternity.” While persuading the players HE said, “Games must be played with the passion and spirit; winning or losing the game hardly matters. One who plays with dedication is considered the winner.
While giving emphasis on vegetarianism His Excellency Guruji told, “Man is vegetarian; all our scriptures also mention that vegetarian diet is the best one. This is just an illusion that non veg food gives the power to a man. Elephants, buffalos and ox are all vegetarian which are more powerful than the lions and can beat them. Pulses, soya beans, milk and ghee all are very much powerful. The famous Indian wrestler Satpal is also purely vegetarian.” Before the commencement of tournament students of Shah Satnam ji Boys school Sirsa and Sri Gurusar Modia presented a cultural program. The famous Punjabi singer Pragat Bhagu sang a bhajan and made the people overjoyed.
Haryana players as winners:
Players of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and U.P. participated in one day rural sports competition held at Sri Gurusar Modia. In the full day competition, Haryana got first position and declared as winner. In shot put, Puneet Insan from Haryana held first position by throwing the shotput 13.54 meter away. Whereas Jaspal Singh from Shah Satnam Ji Boys’ School got second position by throwing the shot put 12.8 meter away.
In 65 kg category in wrestling Hardeep Insan (Bronze medal winner in commonwealth games) of Jind ranked first and Sunil held the second position. In elder’s 100 meters race, 63 years’ Satpal of Haryana and Dana Ram Insan, Haryana held first and second position respectively. In elder’s 200 meter race Dana Ram got first and Subey Singh got second position. During the closing ceremony, a Senior international yoga player Ilamchand Insan of 70 years made everyone astonished with his talents. Revered Guruji presented 3100 rupees and a trophy to first rank holders and 2100 rupees and a trophy to second position holder.
